David Morgan writes: 'Ever since I was a young boy, growing up in the green belt of London, I have loved the countryside. Marrying this with becoming an artist, has led me over the years to develop a passion for producing landscape paintings.
All my work is made ‘en plein air’, out in the open air, and ‘à la prima’ which roughly translates to ‘in one sitting’.
Moving to Devon ten years ago, I have really enjoyed exploring and painting its wonderful countryside - from its dramatic coastline to the wide open spaces of Dartmoor, and, it is at present Devon’s weather that sets the tone, mood and colour of my paintings and its landscape that decides their subjects.'
