How do I know my details won’t be given to a third party? Our Terms and Conditions are legally binding on us and they include a clause which specifically states that we will not pass on any details without your permission. Why might I give my permission? We have a facility for you to agree to be contacted by email – for example, we can send you our newsletter or give you information about new work by an artist you’ve already bought from. It’s up to you! How do I know my credit/debit card details are safe? We use an HSBC Merchant Account and Protx to collect fees for our art work -Protx is one of the most used payment systems on the web and is totally secure. Once transactions have been logged all your card details are destroyed. Protx is not part of the real-artists.com web site – we just link to it and provide you with a completely safe and secure payment system. How do I know my payment has been accepted? As soon as you’ve purchased a piece from us you will receive a confirmation email from Protx telling you that your payment has gone through. How do I know I’ve bought the art work I want? You’ll also receive an email from us telling you the title of your purchase, its price, the packaging and delivery cost (if appropriate) and a unique order number. Can I track my delivery? Yes. You’ll have a unique delivery number which you use to track your delivery online. How long will it be before I receive my art work? It usually takes a week for your piece to be delivered. If it’s any longer we will contact you and explain why. Why might it take longer? Very rarely one of our artists might be away and the arrangements for collection and delivery might be slightly held up. | If I don’t like my purchase, can I return it? Yes! You can return any piece you buy providing it’s within seven days. We also ask you to bear the cost of repacking to the same standard in which you received the work. Click here for more details. Can I collect my art work from the artist? Yes. If you choose to do this you will receive an email from us with the artist’s email address so that you can then arrange collection between you. Can I see the artwork before I buy? Yes. We are happy to arrange for you to meet the artist and see their work before purchasing. Remember you have a money back guarantee anyway. If I’m not living in the UK can I buy works of art from real-artists.com? Yes! We will ship any item to almost anywhere. All you need to do is email or telephone us and we will arrange shipping and get the best price we can for packaging and delivery.
