| NIALL HENNESSYHere in East Anglia I am endlessly fascinated by the great expanses of sky and landscape which still dominate this part of Britain. The extraordinary water meadows around the river Stour in Sudbury still provide me with most of my ideas; nearly all of my print work depends on this unique local landscape for a starting point. My painting, expressing what I feel about a place or subject, is about many things but principally it’s about soul. I think I succeed best when I’m engaged with it directly…. in front of the subject, reading, understanding, translating, getting feedback from it and filling up my senses with its context Bob is a waterclour painter. SHEILAGH JEVONS Igniting a passion for the land. I make work about the landscape in which I incorporate local historical, social and cultural information. For example, I use place names, dates, images of landmarks, language and so on. Archival material and archaeological images and events underpin the work and help in creating the concept of ‘a sense of place’. Sheilagh works in oils on canvas. See more work by Sheilagh
