A keen walker, I am inspired by seasonal colours, ever-changing light, weather and the atmosphere of not only this landscape but also the striking coastlines of places like the west coast of Scotland. DAVID WHILEYWhere I work in Castle Pulverbatch, 750 ft up on the edge of the Shropshire hills, the effects of weather on the landscape are very apparent. Seeing and experiencing the effects of weather and light and their interaction with landforms are the inspiration to make dynamic landscape paintings. David works in Watercolour & mixed media.
