PURCHASING Buying art work from real-artists.com is easy, safe and secure. Simply click on the ‘buy artwork’ button under your chosen piece and it will take you to our purchasing pages. There you will go through some easy steps to buy your chosen piece. We will never pass on any information you provide here to a third party. Real Artists operates in the UK and accepts payments in GB Sterling only. You buy your art work through our totally secure PROTX purchasing site which allows you to use debit and credit cards in complete safety. If you wish to purchase more than one item the PROTX section of our site will show you how! DELIVERY Once your debit or credit card has been accepted we immediately set about getting your new purchase to you. Our aim is for you to have your art work within seven days. Here’s how it works. 1 The artist will pack the piece and then one of three delivery/collection methods will apply. 2 For most artworks our national carrier, Parcelforce will collect the work and deliver it to your specified address. You will be informed a few days before delivery of the expected date and indicative time. If you are out, our carrier will leave a card asking you to contact them to arrange a convenient time for delivery or you will be able to collect from your local Parcelforce office. You will be given a reference number to track your delivery online if you wish. 3 You can collect the art work yourself from the artist. In this case there is no delivery or packing fee. If you choose this option you will be given the artist’s email address so that you can contact them and make the necessary arrangements. | 4 A few pieces fall outside of our standard delivery size and weight parameters and these are marked ‘exceptional item’. As with our standard pieces, you can click on the ‘collect’ option and there will be no cost. In addition, you can contact the artist or a director by email and they will discuss the best way to get your purchase to you. Just so you know, our overnight individual courier service usually costs between £150 and £350 – again depending on the artwork. We will always find a cost effective and flexible way to deliver. 5 For non exceptional items, delivery and packaging costs vary according to the weight and size of the art work and this price is shown clearly on the 'my purchase' page. 6 We will contact you to make sure your purchase has arrived safely – usually the artist will make this contact. RETURNS You have a money-back guarantee when you buy from real-artists.com We provide as much detail as possible about our art works- its provenance, the dimensions, the materials and so on – but we realize the images you see only give you a good impression of the real thing. The work itself will be something different, invariably something better! However, if the work does not meet your expectations, simply re-pack it to the same standard you received it, and return it to the artist by whatever method suits you. Under our Terms and Conditions you are responsible for this cost. Returns must be made within seven days. Obviously, if you return a piece it must be in the same condition in which it arrived.
