‘Storm Bashed at St Justinian’ on show at the Crown Inn About Nat Young
When Nat Young moved to East Anglia nearly forty years ago he could never have predicted that he would become a founding member of a national online gallery taking his artwork to a new and wider audience across the UK and beyond.
Nat Young at work After all, he was a young GP and the world wide web hadn’t been thought of! Since coming to NE Essex in the early 1970s he has moved from collecting English watercolours as a hobby to become one of the region's best known landscape painters. In January 2010 he will be showing over 60 works in a major exhibition at the Minories Art Gallery, Colchester.
About the picture About the picture Nat says: ‘The Pembrokeshire painting was to demonstrate the changing weather with wind, storm, rough sea etc that is prevalent in that part of the world. It was sketched from a point near to St. David.’ |
