" Having discovered the 'Real Artists' website I was intrigued by the facility to observe close-up details of paintings in a way that I had not experienced on other sites and I spent a number of evenings going over some of the works on display.  Identifying  a number of paintings in a style which suit  my particular taste I decided to make contact with David Playfoot, a director of Real Artists, to discuss the possibility of viewing a couple of paintings by an artist by the name of Bob Hendry.

David suggested that as I lived in Suffolk I should meet him at The Crown ( hotel and restaurant) in the small village of Stoke by Nayland,  where a number of the  company's paintings were on display.

I was not disappointed - one of the paintings I particularly liked, hanging on a wall in the hotel, was very much as I expected.  I made enquiries about a second picture by the same artist and was advised that it could be brought to me for viewing in a couple of days.

Attracted to both the paintings - and unsure which one to purchase I was then offered an extremely attractive discount which enabled me to purchase both of them!   The intricate detail in one of the works is so well illustrated it would make a good subject for a jigsaw!

Both paintings arrived at my home within a couple of days by courier and well packaged to ensure there was no damage during transit.

The whole experience from browsing the website to viewing and purchasing the paintings was an effortless one - and certainly one I would recommend! "

I bought this wonderful linocut from real-artists.com called the Kicker. – it’s on my bedroom wall now. The whole process was really easy and I arranged to meet the artist, Dale Devereux barker, to take delivery. He was fascinating and told me all about his links with swimming and his latest exhibitions in London and Chicago.
